Our Mission
CompareTackle exists to simplify the plant-finding experience for UK gardeners. We believe that discovering which retailers stock the plant you want shouldn't require searching across dozens of websites. By bringing together information from the UK's leading garden retailers in one place, we help gardeners find what they're looking for quickly and easily.
Our Story
CompareTackle was born from a simple frustration: searching for a specific plant variety across multiple retailer websites and not knowing which ones stocked it. A task that should have taken minutes consumed hours.
We realised that gardeners had no easy way to see which UK retailers carried a particular plant. So we built CompareTackle — a free tool that brings together information from major UK garden retailers in one place.
We're currently working with 22 major UK retailers and plan to add real-time pricing, stock availability, and more retailers in the future. Our focus remains on simplicity, honesty, and putting gardeners first.

We don't show favouritism to any retailer. Our search results are ranked by relevance, not by commission potential. We work for you, not the retailers.
